National League Division 2 – The games begin

Ashcombe faced London Ravens in their first NVL of the new season on Saturday 10th October at The Ashcombe Volleyball Centre. It was a home game for the Dorking team and a tough start to the season. Strong serving and a variety in attack from Ravens kept them ahead throughout the match. In all 3 sets Ravens sped away, taking a 5 or 6 point lead that they never let go. Ashcombe play Sussex Dolphins on Saturday 24th October where they will fight for a more positive result.
